hello traffic, hello classes, hello UT.
Hey UT17. Today’s the day we’ve all been waiting for/dreading/dreaming about/nightmaring about/never thought would come.
I think I just invented a new word somewhere in there.
Me, being the punctual person that I am, decided it would be a good idea to arrive an hour before class time so that I could sit outside the BMC and rock the total clueless freshman look. Y’all know what I’m talking about. Can there please be like a 101 guide on how to not look like a freshman?
Anyhow, I’m pretty psyched that my first class of college is photographic comm. It could have been “Physical Science: Heat and Mechanics” which, you know, sounds like loads of fun and all but….
…yeah the RLM gives me the heeby jeebies. I went exploring the other day, and like half of it’s underground full of giant gas tanks and questionable equipment covered in foil. Not to mention the building is drab and probably something out of a dark twisted Tim Burton film or something of the sort. Does anybody actually like the RLM? Do you want to share your secret?
Other than creepy science buildings though, the experience has been grand. The BMC is a building that you don’t feel like you may become subject to an accidental chemical spill.
..which is nice i guess
I digress. Anyways, for any of you reading this who also started classes today, good luck and have fun! Don’t be late. Stay in school. Don’t do drugs. Don’t let your children become aggies.
Peace an blessins,
